
Ed, who joined Hilco Real Estate in 2014, has over 10 years of real estate transaction experience and plays an integral role in advising clients in numerous transaction types including property sales, lease restructuring, bankruptcy advisory, tenant/landlord leasing representation and asset valuation/analysis. Today, Ed’s primary role is focused on conducting sale transactions on a variety of property types across the country, including industrial, retail, office and recreational properties.
In addition to his traditional transactional experience, Ed has also been the project lead on multiple national bankruptcy cases, including the high-profile JCPenney, A&P and hhgregg cases, totaling over $2.5 billion in transactional value. Ed has also worked and led several notable HRE client engagements including Lowe’s, IDI Logistics, Starbucks, H2 (Sears), The Fresh Market, Fred’s Pharmacy, First Midwest Bank, Group Lotus, The Rock Wood-Fired Kitchen Restaurants and National Retail Properties.
Prior to joining Hilco, Ed was an associate broker in the Denver region, where he specialized in retail tenant and landlord representation, market and lease research, and business development strategies. Ed received his bachelor’s degree in environmental design from the University of Colorado, with an emphasis in architecture.
