Hugh is a Chartered Engineer with over 38 years’ experience of industrial operations and commercial management across a wide range of industrial sectors including power generation, petrochemicals and general manufacturing/engineering. He specialises in industrial business investment and turnaround, working with both the Hilco Investment Team and portfolio Directors and Boards to facilitate accelerated financial and operational performance improvement post acquisition.
In his role as Hilco Capital’s advisory lead for manufacturing and industrial sector investments, Hugh has successfully facilitated and led numerous operational turnaround projects in Hilco’s industrial and manufacturing investment portfolio companies in the UK, Canada and Australia over the last 10 years.
