
Alan joined Hilco Global in 2025 as a Vice President. In this role, he will work closely with the Chief Strategic Officer and other of the firm’s executives to leverage his extensive experience in financial restructuring and capital allocation to fuel the continued growth and expansion of Hilco’s global diversified services platform and help clients maximize asset value and return on investment.
Prior to joining Hilco Global, Alan was a Vice President in Lazard’s Restructuring and Liability Management practice, where he specialized in advising public and private companies as well as creditor groups in complex in-court and out-of-court financial restructuring, recapitalization, liability management, capital raising and M&A transactions.
Prior to Lazard, Alan was an Analyst at Twin Haven Capital Partners, a private equity firm focused on control and non-control investments in distressed bank debt and bonds, leveraged equities, recapitalizations, post-reorganization equities and special situation direct loans across a broad range of industries.
Alan received his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he graduated with High Honors and was recognized as a Wallman Scholar. He also holds a BA in Mathematics from Williams College, where he was a Dean’s List student and captain of the football team.
