Andrew Hede is Vice Chairman of Hilco Global Professional Services. In this role, Andrew works closely with leadership across the division’s practice areas to accelerate strategic growth, originate new opportunities and connect clients and strategic partners with Hilco Global’s full range of capabilities. He brings a combination of strategic perspective, operational leadership and deep market relationships to support the continued expansion of the Professional Services platform.
Andrew has more than 30 years of restructuring, transformation and operational leadership experience in the United States and Australia. Throughout his career, he has advised companies, creditors and investors on complex restructuring, performance improvement, transaction and business transformation matters. He has also served in interim executive roles on behalf of clients, including Chief Executive Officer, President, Chief Restructuring Officer and Chief Transformation Officer.
Prior to joining Hilco Global, Andrew served as President, Business Transformation & Transactions at Accordion, where he led the firm’s turnaround and restructuring, performance improvement, transaction services and interim leadership practices. Previously, he was a Partner and U.S. Head of Restructuring at McKinsey & Company and held senior executive roles at EY, Alvarez & Marsal, FTI Consulting and Arthur Andersen.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne and is a Member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
