About Benjamin
Benjamin Zaslav is Director, Real Estate Brokerage in the Professional Services division at Hilco Global. Benjamin Zaslav joined Hilco Real Estate’s bankruptcy sales team in 2022, serving to expand the team’s outreach in the distressed asset market. Benjamin holds a Juris Doctorate from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, where he sharpened his preexisting knowledge of bankruptcy law and the bankruptcy code. He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and Marketing from Albany University.
Prior to joining HRE, Benjamin was a business finance and restructuring paralegal at Weil, Gotshal & Manges, LLP. There, he assisted partners and associates through the pre-petition, post-petition, and post-confirmation stages of numerous high-profile chapter 11 bankruptcies.
Benjamin’s legal and business experience makes him a crucial member of Hilco Real Estate’s bankruptcy team by guiding his clients through complex §363 sales within the bankruptcy space.
