
Brian Pollack serves as Managing Director, Hilco Equipment Finance (HEF). Brian leads HEF’s efforts to help customers monetize equipment assets and structure capital solutions to meet their business needs. In addition, Brian leads HEF’s Credit, Operations, and Portfolio Management functions.
With more than 25 years of combined Wall Street and Main Street experience in the asset finance space, Brian is known for his ability to integrate risk-based credit expertise with an entrepreneurial approach to asset financing. Before joining Hilco Global, Brian served as Chief Executive Officer for North America at CIMC Capital, where he achieved transformative growth by expanding the company’s portfolio from captive leasing to independent lending for large, structured transactions. Under his leadership, the company saw triple-digit gains in profitability and portfolio size.
Earlier in his career, Brian held a leadership role at Bank of America as Credit Officer for Corporate Americas Leasing, managing leasing and financing transactions for U.S. and international corporations. Over his career he has closed over $3B in debt and equity transactions in banking, private credit, private equity, and corporate sectors. His diverse set of experiences includes positions as a deal maker, analytic credit officer, workout officer, portfolio manager, and mechanical engineer.
Brian earned an MBA in Finance from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois.
