Henry Jackson is Executive Director, Originations & Transactions at Hilco Global. He is a senior member of Hilco Global’s growth team, focused on expanding the firm’s Capital Solutions and Professional Services divisions, with particular emphasis on client relationship development across the private investment community, including both debt and equity sponsors.
Henry brings more than 30 years of experience across private equity, investment banking, and operational transformation. He has spent his career advising and partnering with senior management teams of leading consumer and retail businesses in the United States and Europe, driving strategic change, complex restructurings, and long-term enterprise value creation.
Prior to joining Hilco Global, Henry was the Founder and CEO of OpCapita LLP, a London-based private equity firm established in 2010 and focused on operational improvement and hands-on value creation. Earlier in his career, he co-founded Hilco-Merchant Equity Partners (Hilco-MEP) in 2006 alongside Hilco Global’s Founding Chairman and CEO, Jeffrey B. Hecktman, completing several high-profile consumer brand and retail investments across Europe. Henry previously held senior leadership roles at Deutsche Bank, Credit Suisse First Boston, Peter J. Solomon Company, and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Throughout his investment banking career, he advised global companies including Home Depot, JCPenney, Carrefour, Tesco, Prada, Ferrari, and New Look on restructurings, financings, and mergers and acquisitions.
Widely regarded as an innovator in private equity strategies centered on operational transformation, Henry has served on the board of Invest Europe, sat on its Mid-Market Platform Council, and was Chairman of its Turnaround and Operational Improvement Roundtable.
Henry graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, earning a BSc in Finance from the Wharton School and a BA in International Relations from the College of Arts and Sciences. He is actively involved in philanthropic and cultural organizations in both the United States and the United Kingdom.
