Hillary Hecktman Behar
Hillary M. Hecktman Behar is the Executive Director of the Hecktman Family Foundation and a Hilco Global Board Observer. She champions the family’s philanthropic strategy in supporting domestic and international public healthcare, at risk youth, education, community engagement and arts/culture. Her personal non-profit interests include pediatric healthcare advances, genocide prevention, improving after school programming in Chicago for at-risk youth and gun violence prevention. Hillary serves on the Board of Directors for the JCC Chicago and was instrumental in building Sunrise Day Camp Chicago.
Hillary is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Pediatric Oncology Nurse Practitioner Program. Her bachelor of science in nursing degree was earned at the University of Miami. She previously worked as a Pediatric Stem Cell Transplant Nurse Practitioner at the University of Chicago and Comer Children’s Hospital, and as a Stem Cell Transplant Staff Nurse at Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children.
