Jessica Cummins

Jessica brings to Hilco over 20 years of diverse and progressive finance and accounting experience working in financial services and insurance organizations. She currently serves as Senior Vice President of Finance & Accounting for Hilco Real Estate and also Senior Vice President, Manager of SEC Reporting (providing leadership over public reporting, tax and operational finance) for the Copper Property CTL Pass Through Trust, which was established to acquire and sell properties from J.C. Penney as part of its Chapter 11 plan of reorganization. Jessica also provides Controllership for Hilco IP Merchant Capital and Hilco Global Strategic Opportunities Fund.

Prior to joining Hilco Real Estate, Jessica served as Controller providing financial leadership to Arthur J. Gallagher’s Finance & Retirement Services practice, specializing in Fiduciary Consulting, Actuarial, Retail & Wholesale Life, Executive Benefits & Retirement consulting including performing due diligence and earn-out plans for acquisitions. Before Gallagher, Jessica was a Senior Finance Manager at Allstate Insurance Company, leading finance & planning teams both in the Insurance and Investments departments. In addition to leading finance and accounting teams, Jessica is committed to best practices, utilizing continuous improvement methods to anticipate and meet constantly evolving business needs.

Jessica is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Illinois and earned a Master’s of Accounting & Financial Management from Keller Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting from Millikin University.
