John Tinnell is Senior Director in the Professional Services division at Hilco Global, bringing over 30 years of business development experience in asset-based lending and appraisal services. Since joining Hilco Global in 2010, John has led Hilco’s business development efforts across the Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, and Texas regions, representing the entire Hilco platform with direct calling responsibility for banks, non-bank lenders, private equity groups, investment banks, turnaround advisors, and bankruptcy attorneys.
Prior to his tenure at Hilco Global, John served as Senior Vice President, Business Development with the CIT Group, where he spent 14 years in asset-based lending covering the Southeast and Midwest. Tinnell began his career with Bank of America covering the furniture, textile, and apparel industries across the Southeast.
John holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Psychology from Duke University and is an active member of the TMA and ACG.
