Richard A. Maletsky

Richard A. Maletsky is General Counsel at Hilco Global. He joined Hilco Global in January of 2024 and leads the company’s legal department, overseeing all legal functions across a broad range of disciplines including corporate, commercial, transactional, litigation and regulatory. He serves as a key member of Hilco Global’s executive management team, sitting on Hilco Global’s Executive Committee and serving as a standing observer to Hilco Global’s Board of Managers. Rick played a key role in leading the structuring, negotiation and execution of Hilco Global’s 2025 strategic transaction with ORIX Corporation USA, establishing a strategic partnership that supports the firm’s continued global growth and the evolution of the Hilco Global platform. Prior to joining Hilco Global, Rick served Newmark Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: NMRK), a leading commercial real estate services firm, as Executive Vice President and General Counsel of the Newmark Operating Companies. Prior to his role at Newmark, Rick served as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel at Cantor Fitzgerald, L.P., the New York-based global financial services firm. He began his legal career in the mergers and acquisitions group at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in New York.

Rick earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law and his B.A. in Politics and History, magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from Brandeis University.
