Ron Rashkow is a founding principal of RPMS, Inc., which provides strategic consulting and investment advisory services in mergers and acquisitions. He is also serves as Non-Executive Chairman and Board Member at Hilco Global. Ron’s expertise in real estate investment, ownership and management, retailing, consumer hardlines and distribution helps to ensure the success of RPMS transactions. RPMS also provides mentoring to senior management and consulting to private equity groups.
Ron began his career over 50 years ago working in the family-owned lumberyard. His entrepreneurial instincts, combined with his abilities in merchandising, marketing, operations and finance, and real estate expertise, helped grow the family business organically and through acquisitions. Renamed Handy Andy, the enterprise became a respected regional retail chain with annual sales exceeding $750 million. Handy Andy’s performance and growth were frequently lauded, including being named as a three-time recipient the prestigious Building Supply Home Center “Retailer of the Year” award.
Ron is past chairman of the Knapp Entrepreneurial Advisory Board for IIT’s Stuart School of Business. He recently completed 16 years of service on the board of O’Reilly Automotive (a NASDAQ listed company). Other advisory board positions include RTC Corp., Imbibe, Inc., Cannabistry Labs, and Umbrella One.
