Stan Koyanagi

Stan Koyanagi is General Counsel for ORIX Corporation USA and serves on the Board of Directors and is a member of the Executive and Investment Committees of ORIX USA. Mr. Koyanagi also has a senior role at ORIX Corporation, the parent company of ORIX USA, as Senior Managing Executive Officer, Global General Counsel, responsible for the Legal Function Unit and a Member of the Board of Directors.

Prior to joining ORIX Corporation, Mr. Koyanagi was Vice President and Associate General Counsel at KB HOME in Los Angeles, California and in a prior stint with ORIX USA he served in various roles including as General Counsel.  Mr. Koyanagi started his career in private law practice as a partner at Graham & James LLP (now Squire Patton Boggs LLP).

Mr. Koyanagi holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Southern California and a JD from Stanford University.

Mr. Koyanagi also serves on the Supervisory Board of ROBECO, an ORIX Group company headquartered in the Netherlands. In 2022, Mr. Koyanagi completed his tenure as a Board member of the U.S.-Japan Council (Japan), a non-profit organization dedicated to creating a stronger U.S.-Japan relationship.
