Ted Tomaras is Chief Operating Officer in the Professional Services Division at Hilco Global. In this role, Ted partners closely with divisional leadership to drive operational excellence, advance strategic growth initiatives, and strengthen collaboration across Hilco’s diversified professional services platform. He plays a key role in scaling the division’s capabilities and delivering integrated, high-impact advisory solutions to clients navigating critical inflection points.
Ted brings nearly two decades of global leadership experience leading and scaling complex professional services and real estate advisory businesses. Throughout his career, he has held senior operating and finance leadership roles, working alongside boards and executive teams to drive transformation, improve operating effectiveness, and support sustainable growth across large, matrixed global platforms. He is known for combining strategic perspective with disciplined execution, aligning stakeholders and delivering results in dynamic and often high-stakes environments.
Prior to joining Hilco Global, Ted spent over 18 years at JLL, where he served in multiple global leadership roles, including Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer within the firm’s Capital Markets and Hotels & Hospitality businesses. During his tenure, he helped guide these businesses through periods of significant growth and disruption, led strategic acquisitions and integrations, and advanced technology-enabled operating models to enhance transparency, accountability and positive client outcomes.
Ted is known for his collaborative leadership style and ability to align diverse stakeholders around complex strategic objectives. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Michigan State University.
