Doug Jung

Doug Jung is Chief Executive Officer & Senior Managing Director of Hilco Diligence Services and Hilco Performance Solutions. He is a seasoned financial professional with over 25 years of experience with diverse diligence, field exam, audit, credit, management, advisory, finance and investigation background. During Doug’s lending career he has performed or managed hundreds of field exams and specialized diligence assignments annually. He has hired, trained or worked with well over a hundred field exam professionals and staff.

Doug started Hilco Diligence Services in the fall of 2013 and currently has a team of 20 professionals. These resources are based in the US and the UK where they perform ABL field exams, fraud or forensic reviews and deal- specific assignments for lenders, private equity firms and advisors—in syndicated or single lender deals as well as cross border transactions.

Doug joined Hilco in 2013 from his own firm, Jupiter Advisory Group. Prior to that he spent seven years at AlixPartners and FTI/Compass performing a wide variety of assignments including lender advisory work, restructuring engagements, investigations and litigation support work. Previously, he was Chief Operating Officer for Chase Business Credit having also served in numerous other senior management roles at Chase Business Credit, JPMorgan Investment Bank, Special Credits (work out) and the Commercial Bank. He began his career in public accounting, is a CPA, and entered the asset-based lending industry as the Field Examination Manager for Fidelcor Business Credit where he managed a team of 25 staff based out of four offices throughout the US. Many of the people Doug has hired or trained over the years currently hold senior positions at various ABL lenders or field exam firms.

In 2022, Doug was inducted into the Secured Finance Network’s Hall of Fame. He also acts as the Chairman on the Secured Finance Network’s Foundation Board.
