A driven and versatile fashion industry professional, she brings over a decade of experience across e-commerce, off-price, and traditional wholesale markets.
At Hilco, Ekom is primarily focused on procuring additional goods to fill inventory voids within retail liquidation efforts. She also supports key areas of the wholesale business, including brand wind-downs and core wholesale partnerships—offering strategic insight and adaptability across a wide range of engagements.
Prior to joining Hilco, Ekom was the Account Executive for Coach, the iconic American fashion house under Tapestry, where she managed the brand’s presence in direct off-price channels. In that role, she successfully balanced brand integrity with commercial goals, optimizing assortment and sell-through across value-driven retail partners. She also led off-price strategy and execution for luxury jewelry brand Ippolita, known for its refined, artisan-crafted collections.
With a formal education in Fashion Merchandising and Apparel Design, Ekom has built a robust career partnering with leading U.S. and international retailers. As a seasoned buyer, she brings deep expertise in assortment strategy, allocation, business planning, and end-to-end merchandising. Her sharp eye for detail, ability to manage complex projects, and collaborative leadership style make her an indispensable force in today’s fast-paced retail landscape.
