Jordan Kraner
Jordan Kraner is a Senior Director in Hilco Global’s Investigations & Dispute Resolution practice, where he advises clients on complex investigative, compliance, forensic accounting, and dispute-related matters. He has extensive experience assisting companies, counsel, boards, and other stakeholders with high-profile matters involving accounting irregularities, improper financial disclosures, fraud allegations, white-collar defense issues, regulatory concerns, and enterprise risk assessments.
Jordan’s work includes leading and supporting forensic accounting investigations, evaluating financial records and accounting practices, assessing allegations of misconduct, and developing fact-based findings for use in litigation, regulatory, and internal decision-making contexts. He also advises clients on cyber incident response, insurance claim consulting, business interruption claims, and compliance monitoring engagements. His experience spans a wide range of industries, including financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, technology, consumer products, and professional services.
In dispute-related matters, Jordan has served as an expert and advisor on economic damages, lost profits, business interruption, alleged theft of trade secrets, accounting issues, and fraud-related claims. He has prepared expert reports, supported litigation strategy, and provided deposition testimony in federal courts, state courts, and the Delaware Court of Chancery. His expert work includes matters involving forensic accounting analyses, damages quantification, causation, financial reporting issues, and potential fraudulent conduct.
Jordan also has significant experience working with legal teams and corporate clients to analyze large volumes of financial and operational data, identify relevant transaction patterns, reconstruct financial activity, and assess the financial impact of alleged misconduct or disruptive events. He brings a practical, evidence-driven approach to engagements, combining technical accounting expertise with investigative judgment and dispute resolution experience.
Prior to joining Hilco Global, Jordan held senior positions at other consulting firms, where he advised clients on forensic, litigation, compliance, and risk matters. Earlier in his career, he worked in the audit practice of a Big Four accounting firm and in the corporate audit function of a global consumer products manufacturer, performing work across Europe and Australia.
Jordan is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, and the American Bar Association. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Illinois and Indiana, Certified in Financial Forensics, and a Certified Fraud Examiner.
