Laura Krucks is Vice President & Assistant General Counsel at Hilco Global. She has extensive restructuring experience advising companies, lenders, and other stakeholders in a variety of matters both in-court and out-of-court, including debtors in complex chapter 11 bankruptcy cases, lenders in distressed debt transactions, and purchasers in distressed sale transactions. She is recognized for her ability to analyze complex legal issues and negotiate effectively with parties-in-interest. She previously served as a restructuring associate at both Winston & Strawn LLP and Kirkland & Ellis LLP and as a law clerk to the Honorable David Thuma in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, District of New Mexico.
Laura received her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and holds her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, with a minor in Economics, from DePauw University. She is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association.
