Michael Tsandilas is Senior Director, Real Estate Capital in the Capital Solutions division at Hilco Global. He focuses on originating, structuring, and underwriting real estate loans and investments across the capital structure.
Michael joined Hilco in 2009 as part of the Debt and Asset Management platform, where he focused on debt restructurings, loan workouts, and discounted debt transactions on behalf of both debtors and creditors. In 2012, he became part of Hilco Real Estate’s investing platform, concentrating primarily on the acquisition of large-scale industrial and manufacturing facilities across the United States and Canada.
In 2018, Michael left Hilco to launch and manage Suffolk Ventures Real Estate Fund I, a $50 million co-GP investment fund focused on development opportunities in partnership with developers across the United States. He returned to Hilco in 2024 as part of the leadership team of Hilco Real Estate Capital.
Prior to joining Hilco and Suffolk, Michael held various roles in commercial real estate, including relationship management positions at Fleet Bank, Anglo Irish Bank, and the TriSail mezzanine fund.
Michael received his undergraduate degree from Boston College and his MBA from the University of Massachusetts.
