Nick Piacentini is a Senior Associate in the Capital Solutions division at Hilco Global. Nick joined Hilco in 2026 and focuses on originating, underwriting, and monitoring asset-based loans for companies across a wide range of industries with investments spanning the capital structure.
Prior to joining Hilco, Nick was a member of the investment team at SLR Credit Solutions, a Boston-based direct lender focused on middle-market asset-based lending. During his time at SLR, he underwrote a variety of ABL facilities for companies in the retail, wholesale & consumer goods, and business services industries. Nick also gained experience at Santander Bank, where he began his career, with roles in middle-market banking and CIB energy and utilities banking.
Before starting his career in finance, Nick ran a commercial lobster fishing business out of his hometown of Portland, Maine. Nick earned a BSBA from the University of Vermont with a concentration in Finance and Global Business.
