Syd Dufton has joined Hilco Streambank’s IPv4.Global as V.P. of Sales. Syd is best known for his consistent success in driving growth among organizations in the tech sector. He has helped early-stage companies become market leaders by transforming markets via scalable, cutting-edge technologies.
Most recently, he was VP of Sales, selling cyber security, cloud architecture, SaaS and networking solutions to large commercial and enterprise clients like CBS, Fox, MTA and Spotify with a major Solution Provider in NYC. Partners included AWS, Azure, Palo Alto, Aruba, F5, CrowdStrike, and Juniper.
Prior to that, he worked with the American Red Cross. His company, Axle Digital, was instrumental in the creation of the Red Cross Blood Donor App (Webby Award Winner) and their Emergency and Disaster Apps. The firm also built a SaaS Solution for Footlocker’s Eastbay Division.
He was the CRO and then President of publicly-traded Protocall Technologies, where he oversaw the growth of its digital media distribution platform, working extensively with Sony, Disney, Fox and many other major movie studios. He was a founder of AdvanceWork International, a mobile distance learning technology, and a principal at Syracuse Language Systems, a language learning software developer.
Syd was born and raised in North Jersey, and so is an avid Yankee and Giants fan. He attended Gettysburg College and played football and baseball there. He is married with five children (four sons and a daughter), three in college, one is in Med School and one working for Major League Baseball. Syd is a US Coast Guard Master Captain and enjoys time spent out on (or anywhere near) the water.
