Cooling is the most common use case, with a 100-megawatt facility using up to 2 million liters of water per day through evaporative cooling systems. The current data center investment ecosystem is characterized by extraordinary scale, rapid pace, and extended collaboration across sectors. Last year, global capital expenditure exceeded $455 billion, representing a 51% year-on-year increase. By 2030, aggregate global CapEx is expected to reach $1 trillion. Within the sector, capital deployment is heavily concentrated in the top of the market, with Meta, Microsoft, Amazon, Google, and NVIDIA accounting for over half of all global data center investment.
