Bikram Yoga

The Chapter 7 trustee tasked with managing the winddown of the Bikram Yoga estate hired Hilco Streambank to bring to market the Bikram Yoga brand and related intellectual property assets, as well as her interest in a judgment and adversary proceeding claims totaling more than $12 million at face value.

We ran a robust sale process for both the intellectual property and the litigation claims.  When it became clear that the valuable BikramYoga.com domain name was in possession of a third party, we assisted the trustee in navigating the challenge of returning it to the estate through a UDRP action.

We brought 10 parties to the auction and assisted the trustee in closing a transaction in March 2022.
