Kellwood Company retained Hilco Streambank to market and sell the intellectual property and related assets associated with the Sag Harbor apparel brand.

A Well-Regarded Brand

Sag Harbor is a well-known women’s apparel brand, founded in 1975, sold in most major mid-tier department stores. Evocative of the New York Hamptons lifestyle, the Sag Harbor label is well known for its classic sweaters and distinctive separates lines. The brand has strong customer awareness among the 45+ demographic. The Sag Harbor portfolio of products includes lifestyle sportswear, suits, sweaters and sleepwear in misses, petites and woman’s sizes, and had been licensed in additional categories.

Hilco Streambank Closed the Deal

Following a robust marketing process, Hilco Streambank closed a deal for the sale of the Sag Harbor brand. Deal terms were not disclosed.
