• As America’s Senior Customs Manager at a Detroit-based Automotive Tier 1, Angel demonstrated exceptional skill in overseeing import and export regulations, managing compliance processes, and recovering substantial financial backlogs.
• He played a critical role in optimizing duty operations, managing third-party compliance providers, and leading cross-functional teams to comply with key initiatives such as CTPAT and AEO.
• Led the advisory support in duty optimization and risk management in collaboration with global teams.
• Spent nearly four years at a top ten advisory tax and assurance firm, as the Senior Manager of International Services and Mexico Market Leader, Angel spearheaded business development initiatives, forged strategic relationships with the US-Mexico Chamber of Commerce, and expanded the firm’s international footprint.
• His efforts in supply chain and manufacturing strategy were instrumental in delivering comprehensive consulting services that drove client value across the US, Mexico, and other Latin American countries.
