Ketul is a senior negotiator on Hilco Real Estate’s lease repositioning team, working with companies at all stages of financial health in the optimization of their real estate portfolios. Ketul has assisted such valued clients as Starbucks, CEC Entertainment, Save-A-Lot, Town Sports International, YouFit Health Clubs, and many others.
Ketul began his career as an attorney in NYC, providing legal and strategic counsel to clients in connection with the development, disposition and leasing of office, retail and mix-use developments across the continent. Ketul parlayed that experience into a role as the senior leader of a team of real estate executives charged with executing a profit-maximization and fleet optimization strategy on behalf of publicly-traded (Nasdaq) apparel retailer, The Children’s Place, the largest pure-play children’s apparel retailer in North America. During this tenure, Ketul executed and managed relationships with C-Suite executives internally as well as with counterparts at other retailers, landlords and lenders. He also developed extensive relationships across the industry. Initially a leasing attorney, his role culminated to the Vice President of Real Estate and Legal, where he oversaw the real estate directors responsible for executing the company’s store-based business strategy, as well as the real estate legal team.
Ketul received his bachelor’s degree from UCLA and law degree from Rutgers Law School in Newark, NJ; he is a member of the state bar of New York and New Jersey and is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
