
Todd joined Hilco Real Estate’s Lease Advisory team in 2024; he has been advising clients on portfolio restructuring since 2007, providing transactional expertise for organizations both inside and out of bankruptcy. As an industry veteran, Todd has the trust of corporate financial advisors, lenders, and a wide array of C-suites in various industry sectors including retail, office, and industrial.
Todd has valued over 4,000 fee-owned and leasehold properties for lenders, private equity firms, and investors, as well as buyers and sellers in M&A transactions. Some of his key areas of expertise include disposition of surplus property, restructuring and mitigation of leased real estate, property valuation, and strategic planning to optimize clients’ real estate portfolios. He has worked on over 100 restructuring cases and has successfully mitigated more than 1,000 leases. Clients of note include Big Lots, Rite Aid, Bed Bath & Beyond, West Marine, Mattress Firm, Toys ‘R Us, Tuesday Morning, Ascena, Regal Cinemas, Sportsman’s Warehouse, Paper Source, Advance Auto Parts, and Francesca’s.
Prior to joining Hilco Real Estate, Todd was a Sr. Managing Director at A&G Real Estate Partners & DJM Realty, and prior to that, a Wall Street Investment Banking Analyst.
He has a bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University and a real estate salesperson license for the state of New York. Based in New York, Todd is a member of ICSC and the Turnaround Management Association – New York City Chapter.
