Mack Bodie

Mack Bodie is Director in the Professional Services division at Hilco Global. He has served a diverse portfolio of clients—from mid-market to Fortune 500 companies—delivering cyber resiliency and threat mitigation strategies across the healthcare, financial, utilities, and manufacturing sectors.

Prior to joining Hilco, Mack was a Senior Consultant in the Cybersecurity practice at West Monroe, where he specialized in risk remediation, incident response, GRC, and cloud security. He worked closely with both technical stakeholders and executive leadership, translating complex cybersecurity challenges into actionable solutions. His experience includes leading portfolio assessment initiatives for private equity partners, implementing and evaluating cloud security architectures in Microsoft 365 and Azure, and advising on secure configurations, most notably serving as an editor for the industry-standard Microsoft 365 CIS Benchmarks.

Mack’s career spans both hands-on technical execution and strategic advisory roles across cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and Google Workspace. He has played a key role in M&A cybersecurity due diligence and post-close remediation efforts, particularly in high-stakes sectors where speed, precision, and operational continuity are critical.

Beyond client engagements, Mack has contributed to cybersecurity education as an instructor and course developer at Indiana University. He has also led internal initiatives to scale cybersecurity service capabilities, including the creation of proprietary methodologies, training programs, and published thought leadership. He is recognized for bridging the gap between cybersecurity operations and business outcomes, helping stakeholders make informed, risk-aware decisions.

Mack holds a degree in Computer Science from Indiana University and remains committed to advancing cyber resilience through pragmatic thought leadership, client enablement, and collaborative innovation.
