Taran Lucker

Taran Lucker is Senior Director in the Professional Services division at Hilco Global. He is a seasoned management consultant and risk strategist with end-to-end operational, finance, and analytics experience within the commercial insurance, banking, technology, and telecommunications industries.

Prior to joining Hilco, Taran was a Manager in Deloitte’s Cyber and Strategic Risk practice, where he specialized in operational resilience, business continuity, crisis management, third party risk management, and regulatory readiness. He has extensive background partnering with senior executive leadership at his clients to identify risks and implement large-scale strategic and operational transformation designed to address an ever-evolving cyber, operational risk, and regulatory landscape. Taran’s select project experience includes operational resilience, business continuity and third-party risk management program overhauls, crisis simulations, cybersecurity maturity assessments, and regulatory readiness reviews (ISO, FFIEC, SOC, DORA, and more).

Outside of engagement delivery, Taran served as an experienced instructor on Deloitte’s training faculty program, where he delivered numerous cybersecurity, regulatory, and promotion readiness courses to practitioners at the firm. Taran has also delivered internal and client-available webcasts focused on third-party risk management and operational resilience. He was an active member of an eminence team tasked with developing whitepapers on the global cyber risk landscape and services offered by Deloitte.

Taran holds a degree in Economics from Hobart and William Smith Colleges and is an accredited member of the Disaster Recovery Institute International (DRI).
