PT Muldoon

PT is Managing Director at Hilco Performance Solutions. He has extensive knowledge of processes and technology in both design and build and complex remanufacturing. A 35+ year veteran in product development engineering, PT has launched products and operations in electronics, powertrain, steering, fuel management, batteries, rotating electrical and EV powertrain and charging stations. He experience includes setting up greenfield business units and the turnaround of existing operations. Select experiences from his career include:

• Senior Engineering Executive at a major OEM where he led the design, engineering and testing for Remanufacturing, Accessories, Performance and Collision. Combined sales were 4.5B.
• VP of operations at a major remanufacturer of both OE and Aftermarket complex electronics and mechatronic component parts.
• President and CEO at a tier one CNC Wire Form and component stamping operation.
• Chief Engineer for a major tier one Complex Electronic and Mechatronic circular economy component parts operation.
• Vice President of New Product Development Engineering for a boutique custom vehicle manufacturer.
• Director of Engineering and R&D for one of the largest global remanufacturing companies.
• Director of R&D and Engineering for an OEM and aftermarket component part remanufactured.
• General Manager for a tier one design and build global plant production tooling operation.

PT serves as the Remanufacturing Technology Chair MERA/MEMA He is a former member of the SAE Battery Council Advisory Board, and serves as a remanufacturing advisory board member at Wayne State University. He has extensive training in Fixture Design, Test Stand Development, Reverse Engineering, Error/Mistake Proofing, PAP for CDS, WCM, Six Sigma, Catia, GD&T and Lean Principles. He holds multiple U.S. Patents in the areas of: Fuels, Vehicle Body Components and Vehicle Accessories.

He earned his Bachelor of Science at Eastern Michigan University. He serves on the University’s School of Engineering Advisory Board and in 2018 was honored with its Distinguished Alumnus Award. He received his Journeyman Tool and Die Certification from Motorama Engineering prior to beginning his college studies.
