Waleed Aly is a seasoned financial professional with a proven track record advising clients through complex financial challenges and transformative business situations. He specializes in providing strategic financial advisory services, including turnaround/restructuring, distressed M&A, and capital advisory solutions. Mr. Aly has worked across diverse industries, helping middle-market clients navigate liquidity constraints, optimize capital structures, and execute complex financial transactions. Notable transactions include Red Lobster, Corner Bakery (2023), Kataman Metals, and Peter Pan Seafood.
Prior to joining Getzler Henrich, Mr. Aly served as a Vice President in the Special Situations Investment Banking group at Hilco Corporate Finance. Before transitioning to investment banking, he traded fixed-income bonds and specialized in developing algorithmic trading strategies at Jefferies, BNP Paribas, and G.E. Warren. Waleed is a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA) and holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Villanova University.
