Christine McDermott joined Hilco in 2020 as the director of marketing for its national Real Estate Asset Sales group, responsible for marketing strategy, oversight, brand visibility and business development process implementation. With over 10 years in real estate marketing, Christine brings her innate understanding of the industry, business development strategy, effective operational tactics, collateral development and experience with deal flow process to the firm.
Prior to joining Hilco, Christine was the Chicago regional marketing director as well as the central region marketing ambassador for Colliers International and its Center of Excellence where she spearheaded the strategic development and implementation of marketing campaigns, in support of business development goals, for the local offices and their service lines. She also served as the national corporate marketing director at CenterPoint Properties, where she oversaw the development of the company marketing strategy, which included the repositioning of the brand across the company’s portfolio of 300+ industrial facilities.
An innovative and thoughtful marketing leader, Christine began her real estate career with CBRE in 2011 as a local communications specialist and quickly rose through the ranks to business development manager on a national level. While there, she was the recipient of the company’s annual “Shared Services Employee of the Year” award, which recognizes individuals who make exceptional contributions to the firm’s success, as well as the “Ambassador Award,” honoring select standout individuals who demonstrate leadership, initiative and determination.
