Mitch brings his extensive background in direct lending, distressed asset sales, receivership and debt valuation to Hilco Real Estate. His past experiences as a lender, receiver and debt valuation professional provides him with invaluable insight into commercial real estate loans. Throughout his career, Mitch has originated and structured in excess of $1.5 billion in loans. His receivership, lending and asset management expertise translates to a strong understanding of the entire capital stack, providing thoughtful, innovative solutions for lenders looking to dispose of troubled loans or existing REO through brokerage and auction services.
Prior to joining Hilco, Mitch specialized in loan origination with Wilshire Finance Partners as well as Bloomfield Capital. He was also a debt valuations director with National Valuation Consultants. Past clients include national banks, regional banks, community banks, CMBS special servicers, debt funds and private equity firms.
Mitch received his undergrad from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and his MS in Real Estate from the University of Denver.
