Adam Surkis

Adam joined Hilco Real Estate in 2018 and plays a vital role in the successful execution of commercial real estate asset sales along with business development initiatives. Adam works directly with senior level executives at Hilco to expand lead generation efforts and serves as a point person for bankruptcy and distressed assets specifically. He has developed relationships in the banking industry and continues to work with many bank officers to assist with OREO and Special Assets properties. Adam is involved in multiple projects and brings a unique perspective to Hilco from his years in the financial markets.

Prior to joining Hilco Real Estate, Adam worked in private wealth management where he created and managed a significant book of business. Adam spent over a decade as a Licensed Floor Trader on the New York Stock Exchange. He specialized in risk arbitrage on the NYSE and executed order flow for many of Wall Street’s top institutions and wealth managers.

Adam holds a Bachelor’s Degree from The University of Wisconsin-Madison in International Business and Economics; he holds a Series 7, 63, and 65 Securities Licenses.
