During his 30+ years as a pension expert, split between both the public and private sectors, John Spencer has been involved in nearly every major US pension transaction or restructuring of the past two decades. He was the Director of Corporate Finance at the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation before moving to the private sector in 2006. John has led negotiations and delivered outstanding results in all aspects of pension and other legacy liability management engagements and served as an expert in numerous high-profile situations.
