In November 2018 Paul Masters and Conrad Beighton of Leonard Curtis Recovery Limited as Joint Administrators instructed Hilco Streambank to actively seek interested parties with regards to the sale of the business and assets of Exosect Limited (in Administration) (“Exosect” or the “Company”), including its extensive intellectual property assets and proprietary know-how consisting of the understanding, experience and knowledge of Exosect’s highly skilled employees. Exosect was an innovative formulations business which had been developing pioneering sustainable pest and disease control solutions to tackle a wide range of problems throughout the food supply chain. The Company’s unique technology was protected through an extensive suite of patents, with over 150 granted and pending patents. Hilco Streambank undertook a comprehensive sales and marketing exercise which aroused strong international interest in the business and assets. Hilco populated a virtual data room which contained confidential materials regarding the intellectual property and assisted interest parties with their due diligence enquires. The resulting competitive bidding process was effectively managed by the Hilco team who coordinated swift completion.
