Linda Shannon has built significant expertise in handling intellectual property assets, particularly in distressed situations. She has more than 10 years’ experience assisting clients in identifying, appraising, and monetising a range of intangible assets across all sectors. Linda has led Hilco’s equity investments in a number of IPv4 address asset transactions including from a UK university and FTSE 100 companies. She has successfully conducted the disposition of intellectual property assets from insolvency cases such as Thomas Cook, Blippar and Green Energy Geothermal, as well as having managed a number of business and asset sales processes.
Her deal-making and business analysis skills were enhanced by previous experience at the Royal Bank of Scotland, where Linda obtained the Chartered Banker qualification. She studied International Relations and Modern History at the University of St Andrews. She also holds the Graduate Diploma in Law. Linda loves to travel and spent time working for Transparency International in Azerbaijan after graduating.
