
Kyle Herman is a Senior Managing Director at Hilco Corporate Finance. Kyle has spent over 20 years advising companies, boards, lenders, buyers, and other stakeholders on capital structure issues across all industries. Deal experience includes the City of Detroit, Ion Media Networks, Allied Holdings, El Paso Children’s Hospital, Standard Pacific Corp., The Weinstein Company, Snap Kitchen, Ultrapetrol, S.A., Open Road Films, Questex Media Group, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, and Keystone Automotive Operations, among others. Prior to joining HCF, Kyle was a co-founder of Exigent Partners, a boutique restructuring advisory firm based in Houston. Before that, he worked in restructuring advisory at Berkeley Research Group in Houston and Miller Buckfire & Co. in New York. Previous experience includes working in leveraged finance at J.P. Morgan’s Entertainment Industries Group and in finance/accounting at Artisan Entertainment, both in Los Angeles.
Kyle serves on the board of the Turnaround Management Association Houston chapter. He has also served on multiple alumni boards for the University of Texas at Austin and the board of The Healthy Lunch Box. Kyle graduated with honors with a B.B.A. in Finance and a B.A. from the Plan II Honors Program at the University of Texas at Austin. He also holds a M.B.A. in Finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
