Ryan Lawlor

Ryan Lawlor serves as Executive Vice President, Chief Investment Officer & Chief Legal Officer at Hilco Real Estate.

Ryan joined Hilco Global in 2015 as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel. Ryan was instrumental in providing legal advice to all of Hilco Global’s foreign and domestic operating subsidiaries. Ryan negotiated and structured hundreds of transactions to acquire and monetize personal and real property assets around the world, managed litigation and outside counsel, and provided legal and business advice to business unit CEOs and investment committees throughout Hilco Global.

Moving to Hilco Real Estate in 2018 and now a partner, Ryan has been instrumental in all areas of the business, which includes capital solutions, the industry-leading lease advisory practice, an international real estate brokerage business and comprehensive asset management/receivership services. Ryan currently leads Hilco Real Estate Finance US and excels at identifying, structuring and closing complex capital structures, from short-term bridge debt, DIP financing, note acquisitions and mezzanine debt to joint venture equity and property acquisitions.

Prior to joining Hilco Global, Ryan was a seasoned transactional and restructuring attorney specializing in distressed asset sales, merger and acquisitions and in-court and out-of-court restructurings, practicing at the industry leading law firms of Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner, Vedder Price, and Dickinson Wright.
