Hilco Streambank’s Role

Marbles: The Brain Store retained Hilco Streambank to market and sell its intellectual property assets, including its trademarks and related domains for dozens of proprietary products developed and owned by the company, as part of its chapter 11 bankruptcy.

The Brand

Marbles: The Brain Store was a developer, wholesaler and specialty retailer of games, puzzles, books, and software designed specifically to strengthen and stimulate the brain. Each of the products offered by the brand focused on developing or maintaining cognitive functions including critical thinking, memory, coordination, visual perception, and world skills.

Hilco Streambank Closed the Deal

The sale process ignited significant interest from dozens of parties.  The company received four offers for stalking horse consideration and ultimately, it closed a deal with Spin Master for $2.5 million.
